## What is a callback?

A callback is when you reference a joke from earlier in your set, later on. It rewards the audience for paying attention and makes the whole set feel connected.

## The problem

Most comedians forget what they've said. By the time you're 15 minutes in, that throwaway line from minute two is gone.

## The solution

Tag your pieces. When you capture an idea, let the software silently identify themes. Later, when you're building a routine, related pieces appear visually connected — and callbacks reveal themselves.
